Dr. Zakiyyah is a licensed Naturopathic physician and Primary care Physician who received her Doctorate of Naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington. She earned her undergraduate degree in Business Management and Information technology from Middle Georgia State University.

As a provider, Dr. Zakiyyah takes a patient-centered approach to primary care with the belief that equitable integrative primary care should be accessible to all. She approaches care from a trauma-informed, weight neutral and culturally competent lens. Dr. Zakiyyah is committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate care that focuses on treating the whole person and believes the therapeutic relationship between the patient and doctor is the foundation for shared decision making in a patient’s healthcare management.

Her clinical interests include pre-diabetes, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, gastrointestinal issues, autoimmune diseases, menopause, men and women’s health, and bio-identical hormone therapy. She is committed to learning how to practice safely by seeking out training and resources dedicated to trauma informed care for people of all body sizes, genders, sexual orientations, and cultures.

Dr. Zakiyyah enjoys providing care along the entire primary care spectrum from annual wellness exams to complex chronic diagnoses. She utilizes the full scope of Naturopathic medicine in her treatments including diet and lifestyle, herbal medicine, supplements, counseling, and pharmaceuticals.

In her free time, Dr. Zakiyyah enjoys spending time in nature in the beautiful parks in Washington, traveling, cooking and attempting to garden.

Hi Everyone, I am Cec (She/They)!

My work is grounded in trauma-informed care and a deep respect for each person’s lived experience. I am passionate about bridging the gap between mental health and natural wellness. I graduated from Bastyr University, earning a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology. I love integrating these modalities and providing health education as well as psychoeducation. I want to support you to reconnect with your inner wisdom, restore balance, and cultivate resilience. Some highlighted approaches that shape my approach are CBT, Liberation Psychology, and DBT. I love encompassing somatic practices as ways to physically regulate the nervous system.

I believe healing is a spectrum, so whether you’re seeking relief from anxiety, working through trauma, or moving through addiction, I tailor each session to meet your unique needs. This can look like incorporating mindfulness, somatic awareness, building skills, or tending to parts of you that need care.

The decision to begin therapy can come from different places. Sometimes there is a clear concern—anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, relationship difficulties, or a major change in life. Other times, there is simply a sense that something is not quite right or that familiar ways of relating to yourself or others are no longer working. I am interested in understanding your experience as you live it, including the parts that may not yet be clear or easy to put into words.
My approach is relational, collaborative, and experiential. I draw from Existential and Person-Centered Therapy, Focusing-Oriented Therapy (Gendlin), Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM). My work is integrative, allowing me to draw from these approaches in ways that are relevant to the person and what emerges in our work together.

Dr. Miranda Boclair is a Naturopathic physician licensed in the state of Washington. She works to address the physical, mental & emotional health and well-being of each patient on an individual basis. She is dedicated and passionate about primary care and treating cardiovascular & metabolic conditions such as hypertension, coronary artery disease, high cholesterol, diabetes management & prevention, and chronic pain. With understanding of both conventional and natural therapies, Dr. Boclair approaches each condition with an integrated & heart centered approach using herbal medicine, nutrition education, prescription nutraceuticals, physical therapies, counseling, and medications when necessary. Dr. Boclair is also an intensive care nurse and understands how to approach patients from a well-rounded background. Her ultimate goal and passion is to help people feel empowered and supported in their health journey and to help patients understand the root cause of their disease to live healthy fulfilling lives. She also is pursuing additional training in Counterstrain, which is a fascial release modality that decreases inflammation to deactivate pain receptors in tissues of the body to heal chronic bodily dysfunction.
