Dr. Andrew Dzikowski is a Naturopathic Physician, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Substance Use Disorder Professional specializing in dual diagnosis treatment. He primarily works with non-pregnant adults who suffer from chemical dependency and co-occurring disorders with a focus on physical and mental health and wellness. His medical philosophy is to promote recovery through patient-centered care and therapeutic alliance.
Dr. Andrew received his Naturopathic Doctorate and Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University and his Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and is licensed in the state of Washington. Prior to this, Dr. Andrew received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and completed a 1-year nursing residency at Swedish Medical Center in Addiction Medicine and Withdrawal Management. Thereafter, he worked as a withdrawal management nurse for 4+ years at Evergreen Recovery Centers Detox, then transitioned into a provider role soon after. In addition, he has completed an internship at the Betty Hazelden Ford Foundation, completed advanced course work in addiction medicine including the Buprenorphine Waiver training and the ASAM Alcohol Withdrawal Management Series as a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine and is board certified in addiction nursing-advance practice.
In his spare time, Dr. Andrew enjoys powerlifting and playing music.
